Shapes and sizes of Custom Laser Line (HR) Mirrors

Round, rectangular, trangular, hexagon, any other custom shapes from few milimiters to hundreds of milimiters in size.

Production of Custom Laser Line Mirrors

The manufacturing sequence is very similar to Nd:YAG, Yb:YAG and Ti:Sapphire laser line mirrors.

  1. **Desired wavelength is determined. It could be either a specific laser (e.g. Co:MALO, Alexandrite, Ruby, et.c) or custom waveleneght.
  2. Optical and physical parameters are mapped on drawing. Size, shape, quality, spectral values, etc. The final manufacturing drawing is prepared.
  3. First production step is polishing of mirror substrates. Once desired high quality polsing is achieved, parts are inspected.
  4. Based on thin film coating design, the correct high reflection coating is applied.
  5. Once production is finished Custom Laser Line HR Mirrors are inspected and stocked or shipped to the customer.

Alien Photonics custom laser line mirrors can be used in several types Nd-based media lasers: Nd:YVO₄, Nd:YLF, Nd:Glass, Nd:YAlO₃ , Nd:LuAg, Nd:GdVO₄, Nd:CLNGG, Nd:SSO, etc. Although, most of these lasers have same or very similar fundamental wavelength, the laser application itself might differ and some customizations might be needed. However, usually same standard Alien Photonics Nd:YAG Laser Line (HR) Mirrors are quite sufficient with a few exceptions.
